Natural Religion is everyone’s natural spontaneous religious nature. Natural religion is pure religion, in the sense that science is pure. Just as there is no separate true science for Christians, Moslems, Jews, Hindus, Buddhists, etc., there can be only one true religion, the pure search for religious truth and understanding. Natural Religion is like a generic name for one’s religious or spiritual essence, no matter the content of the belief system. Natural Religion is based on spiritual truths that have run through the entire history of humanity, across communities and religions, which are in perfect harmony with scientific discoveries of the past 100 years. Natural Religion is eternal. The essence of Religiousness is the same essence that has existed in every truly religious individual who ever lived, whether or not that person belonged to an organized religion.. Natural Religion is the ultimate in respect for Divinity in all its forms, including the human form. There is no form that is not Divine. All people are Divine, even if it seems from the outside or from their behavior they are not. Natural Religion does not preclude acceptance of or belief in other religions. Natural Religion encompasses all religions. Anyone may join the Union of Natural Religion. Evolution is a central concept in Natural Religion, but not Darwinian evolution. Because Existence itself is Divine, we believe genes for the experience of religion or spirituality exist and are being widely activated now. Religious expression in humans is about to make an evolutionary jump. People are awakening to their natural spirituality. Natural Religion proposes that we can each personally experience the Divine, of which we are inseparable parts. Because we are Divine, we can easily experience this Divinity that flows through us, that is us. We humans, in our evolution guided by Divine Intelligence (God), are basically asleep to the Divine within us. We are living a dream, a dream in which we have no apparent contact with Divinity. We don’t feel the Divinity that literally pulsates in us and in everything. Hence, all the spiritual teachers down the ages have emphasized the need for spiritual awakening. Divine Intelligence has created different doorways to help us awaken spiritually. Love is the easiest doorway to the Divine. Open your heart, and the divine is there. Open your eyes and you can see it. Prayer and meditation can be doors for tuning into the Divine. Prayer is not just asking God for help or reminding Him that something is missing. The prayer to open the door is a prayer of gratitude. Meditation is the process of becoming aware of yourself, and if you really become aware, of course, the Divine is there inside to be experienced. The Divine Intelligence has also put on Earth foods and herbs that influence our consciousness. This includes marijuana/cannabis/hemp, which stimulates spiritual uplifting as well as a wide range of documented medical benefits. Various botanicals have powerful therapeutic and/or spiritual properties. They have been considered sacraments, and used accordingly for thousands of years across the Earth.
